The Maldives has been on my bucket list for some time. Earlier this year, my partner and I finally got to visit the island destinations for four days and I couldn’t have been more excited. We stayed at an amazing resort Pullman Maldives Maamutaa enjoying pristine blue waters, white sand beaches, exciting water sports and underwater world. Maldives has a lot to offer to its visitors, as both, a romantic destination and a place filled with lots of adventure and fun.
Rooms & facilities
Pullman Maldives Maamutaa was opened in Septemeber 2019 and it is definitely the most luxury place I have ever stayed in. The resort offers wide range of accommodation both on the beach, overwater and exclusive aqua villas with bedrooms under the water! Imagine waking up surrounded by tropical fish, sting rays and even sharks!
In addition the resort has a gym, outdoor tennis court, golf facilities and spa. You can also ask for an advice a wellness coach that will help you to take a holistic approach to fitness and offer you personally designed programmes and menus.
Food
Seems like food in an all-inclusive resort can be quite boring. Definitely not here! Pullman Maldives has 6 restaurants and bars, my favorites are Phat Chameleon, Mélange and Saffron Affairs.
Saffron Affairs is the best for watching sunset with its tapas, great variety of cocktails, comfy couches and hammocks.
Mélange is a buffet restaurant and serves a variety of international cuisines, French, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Arabic. All counters have live stations where the chefs can interact with the guests and cook at their request.
Best of the best - Phat Chameleon! Food there really blew my mind! They serve creative organic and vegetarian dishes. I tried with my partner almost every dish and everything was absolutely amazing! That’s more all ingredients are planted in a resort garden. A big shout-out to Chef Philippe to implement this idea and for his passion for cooking and sustainability of the local community and environment.
Service
What makes Pullman Maldives Maamutaa special is not only the amazing rooms, facilities and food but most importantly the staff and atmosphere. The customer service at this resort is outstanding. They made us feel special every day. They were always amiable and professional.
Overall, our stay in Pullman Maldives Maamutaa was so memorable. We really had an amazing time, and I got to experience my first seaplane flight, great jet ski adventure
and some fun in the tropical sun! Can't wait to be back! ;)
