A ‘traditional’ picnic is awesome. But a picnic, in whatever form, can actually happen anywhere. As a matter of fact, for this photo shoot we chose the beach right next to our house!
Picnics come in all forms and they’re magical things because you don’t really have to follow rules or etiquette – simply sit in the sun or the shade of a mossy tree, take off your shoes, remove your tie and lie back in the cool grass.
There really is nothing better than getting outdoors with the whole family or friends and going on a picnic - it's the perfect way to spend some quality time with your loved ones without breaking the bank :)
What to pack for a picnic?
Food:
- charcuterie board items: cheese, grapes, and crackers
- a loaf of French bread (in our case baguette from Coles xD)
- garlic bread
- pizza
- wraps
- home-made salad
- fruit- strawberries, watermelon, or any kind of citrus (grapefruit, oranges, lemons)
- corn chips
- chocolate
- banana bread
- muffins
- bevarages (water, juices, tea or coffee)

- picnic basket
- picnic blanket / sheet
- trash bag
- kitchen towel

- cutlery
- camera
- board games
- sun cream
- candles and flowers for a romantic mood :)
