The highlight of this year was definitely my first trip to my partner's motherland, Argentina. It was such an amazing and relaxing holiday. We spent some quality time with his family (and dogs!:), we went to Iguazu Falls both on the Argentinian and Brazilian side - what a stunning place, I’ve never seen anything like that in my entire life. The photos don’t do justice to the breathtaking experience of being there in person.
We also celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary by wandering around my favourite part of Buenos Aires, Recoleta, and we had the most delicious lunch at Palacio Duhau.
We enjoyed 10 days in the breathtaking Patagonia region, visiting my partner's family, exploring Bariloche, Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes, skiing, exploring local cafes and restaurants and eating a lot facturas (Argentinian pastries).

Then I flew to Italy where I photographed a beautiful wedding in Lake Garda and spent a few days in Bologna. It was my first time there and I was honestly blown away by its beauty and delicious tortellini and pastries.
Late September, I flew again to Europe (yep, a lot of flying this year!), this time to my beloved Paris for my first ever Paris Fashion Week, which was so cool and inspiring. I really hope I’ll be able to attend one next year.
It was my 4th visit to Paris and I don’t think I will ever get over this place. I absolutely love the vibe of this city; the charming streets, Haussmannian buildings, cosy cafes, outdoor markets, Luxembourg Gardens and Tuileries Garden, pastries (nothing beats pan eu chocolate and almond croissants) and of course, street fashion.
My favourite part of the day was sitting at a sidewalk café, sipping coffee, and people-watching, a simple and yet quintessential Parisian experience.
After visiting Paris, I came back to Italy where I spent a few days in Rome, Milan and Lake Como, the last one stole my heart, and I could move there anytime! I stayed a few nights in Menaggio where I had a chance to photograph beautiful couples. I also had time to enjoy the landscape and experience true dolce vita. Lake Como is surrounded by picturesque mountains and charming towns, it’s known for elegant villas and lush gardens. This time I managed to visit only Villa Carlotta, I left Villa del Balbianello and a few other villas for the next time :) I highly recommend getting an all day ticket for a public ferry that connects various towns and villages around the lake. This way, for only 15 euros, I was able to visit Bellagio, Varenna, and Bellano.

We also spent a few weekends outside of Melbourne, enjoying a unique experience at Lancemore Hotels and savouring their exceptional cuisine.
Our favourites from the autumn photo shoot in Melbourne.
In October we went to the Gold Coast to celebrate my 23rd or 32nd birthday, I am still not sure.
Apart from my exciting travels and adventures, most of the year I am working like crazy on back to back weddings or editorials and then I am locked in my editing cave for weeks…or months haha.
It would mean a lot to me if you follow our work on Instagram and if you have friends who’re getting married in Europe and they’re still looking for a photographer and videographer, we will be there from May 2024 till October. And to everyone who already booked a European wedding with us - THANK YOU.
We can’t wait to photograph and film your special day!
- Starting the day with a high-protein (20-30g) and fat breakfast (no carbs!) to help regulate blood sugar and hunger.
- Wearing a continuous glucose monitor for 2 months to monitor glucose levels and identify foods causing spikes.
- Avoiding coffee on an empty stomach and opting for decaf, as caffeine can impact hormones and exacerbate PCOS symptoms.
- Structuring meals around protein and fats with low-carb additions, such as tofu with avocado and veggies, omelette with peanut butter, hummus with veggie sticks, coconut yoghurt with protein and berries, protein shakes with fruit, and protein pancakes.
- Limiting gluten and dairy consumption, especially in Australia, where these seem to affect me more than in other countries. No processed food.
- Drinking filtered water after installing a tap water filter in our kitchen.
- Drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar diluted with water (once a day, before or after a meal)
- Focusing on strength and resistance workouts rather than intense cardio sessions.
- Setting a minimum of 10,000 steps a day as a non-negotiable goal.
